My kids were burned out, and so was I. Then I found Plain and Not So Plain. This amazing curriculum will cost you nothing more than paper and ink. You can print out the entire year, or just do a week or a month at a time, whichever you prefer. It's super easy to implement and grade and provides a solid education.

We have used Old Fashioned Education a number of times throughout our years of homeschooling. It is a wonderful resource for educating! If you're familiar with the What Your ___ Needs to Know books, then this site is for you. Core Knowledge not only publishes the books, they have an entire curriculum based on those books that you can use for free! You will need to add a Math Curriculum to this one, but you'll find all of the other core subjects here including History, Geography, Science, and Language Arts. They are also working to add music and visual arts!
