Have you heard of My Teaching Library?

It is an amazing site where you can find hundreds of high-quality homeschool resources on just about every topic imaginable! Let's take a look at all that My Teaching Library has to offer.

For this review, I was given one year of access to the Download Club, which offers unlimited downloads while the membership is active.

While we have our core curriculum that we use daily, I am not at all opposed to following rabbit trails or supplementing those core courses with fun and interesting tidbits. I found My Teaching Library to be a goldmine for both!

What does the site offer for educators?

At first, the site can seem a little intimidating. When I say that there are hundreds of resources, I am not exaggerating!

Despite the number of products available, the site is so well organized that it's pretty easy to find what you need or browse around in search of things you think you MIGHT need! 🙂

The best part is, you don't even have to be a member of the Download Club to see what is available on the site. It's all accessible in the shop and you can even purchase and download individual products if you don't want to join the Download Club immediately.

To find what you need, simply go to the Educational Resources menu item. You can browse by grade or subject. There are also sections of miscellaneous items that span several grades or don't fit into any of the subject categories. There's even a page that lists the newest resources.

Within the site, you'll find items for PreK through 12th grade in several subjects including fine arts, character education, language arts, languages, math, science, social studies, history, and even electives like health, economics, and religious studies. You have access to a wide variety of resources such as informational texts, games, mazes, lapbooks, notebooking pages, and even full textbooks with teacher guides!

Please note that all products offered at My Teaching Library are digital products!

How does membership work?

My Teaching Library offers two ways to access their materials.

Purchase items individually
If you'd like to try out a few of the resources before committing to the Download Club, you can! Simply find the item(s) that you'd like to purchase, add it to your cart, checkout, and download immediately.

Download Club
Purchasing a membership to the Download Club means that you'll have unlimited access to all current and future products at no additional cost! There are two subscription levels to choose from—yearly ($45) and lifetime ($225).

With the yearly subscription, you'll pay the annual cost each year that you'd like to use the products. When the subscription expires, so does your license to use the materials.

The lifetime subscription gives you access to all of the products available now and in the future and your license to use your downloads never expires.

You can find all of the membership details on the My Teaching Library website.

The goodies we found!

I found a number of great resources that we used during the last few weeks. These were our favorites!

Stomped Multiplication Game

Getting the kids to practice their multiplication facts is nearly impossible, so when I stumbled across the Stomped Multiplication Game I knew that I had to try it.

It was a hit!

The kids had such a great time playing the game, and it was very simple to assemble. I printed all of the cards on thick cardstock and cut them out. There is a page in the file that you can use to print a back onto the cards, but I honestly didn't bother. I printed the rules/instructions on regular paper so that I could fold it nicely and place it in the ziplock bag that I store everything in.

It was a lot of fun to play (even for my middle schooler!), quick and easy to set up, and super easy to play. The kids and I had a blast, and they ask to play it daily. I call that a win!

September 11th Unit

I had my middle schooler go through the September 11th lesson and complete the worksheet. She really enjoyed the format and I was happy to offer her a little more detail than what we discussed together as a family with her younger brother.

Positive Growth Mindset Bookmarks

One of the things that I decided to use was these Positive Growth Mindset Bookmarks. Sometimes the kids have a tendency to be too hard on themselves when they make mistakes or aren't able to do something at the level they would like to. My little man, especially, struggles with his reading and gets discouraged. When I saw these cute little bookmarks with their encouraging quotes I knew they would be perfect for him. I printed a few out onto cardstock for him to use. Easy peasy!

Don't just take my word for it!

We loved everything that we downloaded from My Teaching Library. The materials are very high quality, easy to print and use, and the site itself is very easy to navigate. I love that within my account there is a list of all of the items I've "purchased" with quick and easy access to the downloads should I ever need the link again.

The site is so well organized that it was very easy to find quite a few fun items—far more than I've covered here (perhaps in a future post!).

There are so many more wonderful products available at My Teaching Library than the few that I have mentioned in this review. Many other families have used different products and provided their own recommendations. Be sure to visit the Homeschool Review Crew page to read more reviews by clicking the banner below!
